Nothing Good or Bad?

I was asked to guest post by Becki Duckworth at http://isurvivedamurderattackmyfamilydidnt.com/ Becki’s story is brutal; you can read about it here.

And you can find my next post here.

I wish all of you peace on this day after Christmas. I find it’s not the “day” that’s hard as much as the aftermath, when I’ve survived to find yet again that life goes on and I’m just not sure how I’m supposed to go along with it.

Wow, what a harrowing experience. Thanks for reposting, Denise. Yes, another year of being reminded that nothing will ever be the same. How to live amidst the void confounds me. Trying to find pieces of joy in the pile of sharp-edged shards is a challenge. But we do the best we can, right? Holiday hugs to you. xxooxx

And many hugs to you. It’s the aftermath that’s the worst; these quiet days when I just want to say, WTF? I mean, really? Just, WTF?? I think that should be the title of my next post ‘cept it has all the makings of a rant. I do try not to rant when I post. Maybe it’s time. I sure have a reason to.

Denise, thank you so much for your willingness to be a guest writer on my blog. You are an inspiration to me, and I am touched by your ability to find true forgiveness.
