This is what our children give us. And no matter what, it’s with us always. Enjoy them; I know I did.

Yes, they are, and I’m grateful to have spent so much time with my kids when they were growing up. It hurts to look at those pictures, but I also know I had him that way; I didn’t miss his childhood. I miss the young man he was turning into.
I know you know what I mean.

Joyce, I am on my knees in gratitude that I had their whole childhood. This picture made me smile and cry, too; but those days are gone and I spent so much time with them. I don’t know if you read my post called, “The Story.” It’s here, if you feel like it: fhttps://forphilip.com/2013/05/08/the-story/ I almost lost him right around the time he was the age in this picture. Can you imagine?

Thank you Nancy; their innocence both joyous and heartbreaking. I try to remember it’s not gone; it’s part of me, no matter what.
